On My Way

Friday was the hardest day i have ever got!

The fire alarm in my apartment building was turned on at about 3 at night. People were forced to get up and run out of the building and stay outside until the fire department checked out the buidling. I was so scared and tired, and we couldnt go back home until around 4.

Then later at day I got a call from the hospital that my father had been sent to the Rockie View Hospital by ambulance because he fainted at work. I rushed to hospital straight on the cab and I thought I was totally helpless. My father's co-worker came together with him and she told me what happned to him. When I saw my father laying on the bed in the emergecy room, I cried. He looked pale and his eyes were closed. I was so scared because I had never seen him like this before. I cried until my father felt I was touching his face. He barely opened his eyes and asked for water, then he fell asleep again. We waited to see the doctors for about 3 hours until I called my mother. Then as soon as my father was sent to the doctors I didnt leave the room at all because I had to translate what the doctor said into chinese for him. They did analyzes on him and made sure he was alright to go home for rest. We came back home at about 12 at night when I realized I didnt eat anything since last night. I was extremelt exhasted but thanks God my father looked better.

Next week I have to go to see Dr. Liang again for more check ups because we wanna make sure that my father is doing alright. Today he looked better somehow but he still feel dizzy and causious. So hopefully we can find out where the problem is by the end of the week...

What a terrible experience. I can imagine what you are going through. Remember, if you ever want to tell me about anything, the best way is through email / phone / after class has finished / before class has started.
